Ep 84: Evaluating & Breaking Apart a Stock Chart in Detail

★ SUMMARY ★
In this episode, what I’d like to do is show you how to break apart a chart in detail.

If you’re trading a stock that does have fundamentals, you need to then evaluate that stock at a deeper level, and by a deeper level, you should also check those fundamentals.

Typically, stocks with great fundamentals have great charts and stocks that have great charts, have great fundamentals as well.

But as you start looking at these charts, you know and understand that typically, the technicals, the charts do trump the fundamentals, they are more important when things break down, because as things start breaking down, the fundamentals do not apply.

  1. I was wondering Sasha why do you use the TC2000 software?? over or  compared to a think or swim platform by TDA?? I know its personal preference. but what  do you like or don't like??? I have never used TC2000 .I have TDA.  Its just a question I wanted your opinion on Thanks  good trades

  2. What trading software is it used in this video? Is that software available for general public or broker traders? What software would you recommend for new private learning traders? I use Plus500 at the moment.

  3. Hi Sasha, I just begin on trading, but with your videos i start to understand it well. Thanks a lot.
I would like to know with market are covering foreign contry like mine (Haiti) can i trade safely on any platform, likes (Ufx, fortrade, cfd) or one of those you quote on your video. Thanks a lot

  4. Sasha, I am 45 years old, have very limited funds, and really appreciate all your help. This can be very overwhelming for a new trader. I have 5k in play and I am taking it real slow and easy.

  5. I've been watching your videos for a while now and I just want to say 'YOU ARE AWESOME!' Not only have I learnt a great deal from you but its just confirms everything that I have been taught so far. My husband is a full time momentum trader for 14 years and I'm just learning how to trade like he does. And every time I watch your videos its just confirms that most successful traders think alike. He always told me to look at monthly, weekly, daily and minute charts before deciding which stock to get into and it really does work. Keep up with all the fantastic videos and can I just say again you make a great tutor. 😉

  6. Thank you Sasha, i have just watched two of your videos and my trading is better already as i listen to you as i trade. Thank you so much for your Time Sasha. your videos are what i have been looking for 🙂

  7. Question I have already maxed out my 5500 Roth for the year and I have a monthly savings I would like to open a money market account but is it even worth it since I can only put 50 to 100 per month . I know this account would get taxed.

  8. Great video Sasha… Thank you.
My question is why should we stay away from earnings if the company has good fundamentals…. I noticed that with last earning of AAPL, NFLX and other big ones !!!! Luckily I was with FB , but it seems that holding the stocks during earning is like gambling thing…why is that??

  9. Successful check up Dr. Evdakov. Patient apple is fully diagnosed. I prefer white background charts myself, but black looks cool and scientific. Like some ct scan with colourful readings.

I've never hunted let alone sniped or been a doctor. Though I hear a lot of analogies to the 2. Since there is plenty of recon, analysis, observation, and diagnosis. Leading up to a critical moment of pulling the trigger, or operating. Except with stocks it's clicking buy/sell and typing your order.

  10. Thanks for sharing. I love this episode as always.
Welcome to Georgia, Sasha! It will be windy and cold at night, make sure you take a jacket with you. Have a wonderful weekend in GA 😉
