Ep 98: Reading the Stock Market Road Conditions

★ SUMMARY ★
In this episode we are going to be going over reading the stock market trading conditions or, in other words, the road conditions in the market.

It’s important for you to know these road conditions or market conditions in the stock market because you are looking at evaluating and understanding the environment, you are understanding how that driving is happening. What is ahead? What are the risks? What are the factors that are ahead? And that way you know whether you should pull over and take a little bit of a break or breather, let’s just say there is a storm outside or there is major rain, or go ahead and continue driving, go ahead and continue pushing, or go ahead and continue investing.

That is kind of what we are going to cover and with understanding the conditions, you will learn whether you should be buying more, selling or holding or shorting a stock. So there are a couple of different factors to really hone in on this lesson.

  1. Some really great concepts you mentioned while talking about the monthly bars and the SPX going to 3000. I never really thought about stuff like that and definitely something to have in the back of my mind while doing an overall macro view of the market. Thanks for the great content!

  2. New Subscriber, and novice trader. Have only been following your channel no less than a day, yet I have gained a different and proper viewpoint of how to enter and read my trades (as well as charts). I'm a fan! Will be following you on a daily basis and on your other website. Thank you, and more success to your trading!

  3. Do you find yourself trading less frequently, smaller size, or even "sitting out" like many a wise trader/investor when the mkt volume gets this low Sasha? (as is typical of summer) +Sasha Evdakov

  4. Hi Sasha, I need to get used to this new way of video play. I prefer the old way I think. I like that you are experimenting and looking for the best!

Thanks for the lessons btw. I''m a member now of Tradersfly 🙂

  5. 2 little tips. your face cam looks a bit blurry.. and it cuts off your hands, you may need to pivot it to the right go get wideangle somehow.. other than that great idea

  6. I know you allready have a Q&A "format" when you are focusing on one question you get Asked alot. But i think i 10-20 minute video where "we" viewers sends in questions and you simple answer them. Search up "Jacksepticeye reading your comments" for a format i think would be very Nice for the Channel. Because if you Get a question that brings more interest for us viewers, you can make another video focused on that topic! But hey, keep up the good work!

  7. I really like this format! Keep up the good work mate. But just one tip or a thought; what do you think about a Q&A? Not about your networth, bur more focus on the viewers. I think a Q&A would be very smart since you are focusing on the realationship between the viewer and yourself.
But your videoes are one of the best out there, so keep up this insane good work!
