How is Ethereum’s governance doing so far? What should be learned from the failure of TheDAO? Why should we build the “can’t” in unstoppable governance, add more privacy and anonymity?

CORRECTION: At 8:15, I gave the wrong date for TheDAO fork. It was July 2016, not August 2014.

  1. Hi Andreas iam desperate to hear your opinion about Bitfi dma-2. You yourself were calling for user friendly apps and innovations in the space, well Bitfi dma-2 ( if their claims are legitimate) might be an answer to your wishes. Please overlook Their technology and share your opinion with us. to me having whole portfolio on one dashboard is groundbreaking, also no need for writing down seed phrase, just memorize few words is revolutionaly. but can this system work ? i need to hear from independent expert, pls

  2. Woa I just paid a 1.99 dollar fee to move some btc this morning. I wonder how much of these high fees are due to Veriblock spamming the network to shore up other blockchains that can't make it on their own. Well, it's going to cost them. Thousands of transactions at 2 dollars a pop is going to add up after a while. At least these high fees should provide greater encouragement for Lightning adoption. All Bitcoiners who have a Bitcoin tip address had better get a lightning tip link going because i'm not sending 5 dollar tips on the main chain anymore.
Unless Veriblock is in reality just a veiled attack on Bitcoin, they'll probably move to cheaper methods soon such as using the Liquid network.
