Learn How to Become a Better Day Trader
In no way is day trading stocks easy. That said, as a beginner trader, you can learn from the mistakes of others and save a lot of money. At Investors Underground, we teach traders to refine their trading strategies and maximize their potential to make money in the stock market. While this is not a science, we rely on certain principles to add more structure to the seemingly chaotic markets.

Technical Analysis and Chart Reading
We utilize pattern recognition strategies to create high probability trading opportunities. By analyzing stock charts and market data, we can take the emotion out of day trading and increase our odds of making money in the markets. These concepts are discussed in-depth in our educational trading courses.

  1. Summary:

Fundamental Research is time consuming but not rocket science.

Look for big moves on the charts of shit stocks.

Ask “why did that happen?” – Find the catalyst (PRs, etc) that came out before the move.

Don’t ask others to explain fundamentals because you’re a lazy bum.

    Good video. 🙂

  2. Great info on here, definitely going to put in some work and give reverse engineering a go. If anyone is looking for great beginner videos on digging into filings and more information in general, go check out Ricky Analog. His youtube channel has some awesome videos to get your feet wet and is packed with great content! Happy studying!

  3. You absolutely nailed it for me Dante. I'm going to listen to it a few more times and once in a while to keep it as a refresher.

I started committing myself to learning the stock market last month in October. So far I have 1 month under my belt. I've already started noticing a few problems that Dante mentioned.

At first things made sense, then in the middle of one thing, I would start another thing. That would lead to another. And it was a vicious cycle. I wanted to learn everything at once. I began to question if I knew what I was doing. Understandably, this is a vague explanation using the term "thing" but that's how confused I was. Looking at my browser, I had 6-7 windows opened and more than 10 tabs opened in each.

I decided to close all of the windows and tabs.

On a notepad, I began writing down some important questions. Since I have a small account, what are my limitations, what's my strategy, weaknesses, etc… and if I can choose only one pattern to trade, what would that be? I decided to pick break outs.

Then I asked myself, why did it break out? What was the catalyst? How is this chart affecting the psychology of other vested traders? What's the support? Resistance? What happens the day after? etc.

I looked up the charts of other breakouts and watched how the patterns played it out.

The funny thing is that I only figured some of the things that Dante mentioned today… even though I'm sure that it was said a bunch of times when I listened to other videos too. But what you don't do, you don't truly understand.

More beginner/intermediate traders should watch this video. It's completely necessary. Loved it.

  4. Thank you so much Dante for this "reversing engineering" method of learning SEC filings etc. The lazy side me already wanted to skip this video today because we just don't want to hear the plain simple truth, which is taking the long time to learn and master a craft. However I took notes and I can immediately start applying your method right away. Thank you again.
