There is same scam with eosgold, eosdash etc. with same fake kyc emails. None of eos* airdrops are real.

This is f**** horrible!! This is the worst thing about crypto, I would be so pissed if I lost that much money. It's a big deal, thank you for being so transparent. Imagine if you would have made a video and recommended this contest to other people they would have all got hacked. People say never leave your coins on an exchange but you can't really trust wallets either anything can get hacked you're always taking a risk. Definitely don't trust any contest just trade and sell

Hey there – sending you a virtual hug! Really appreciate this post and I hope for a little self-compassion… I fell for something similar with an airdrop and had 1.4k stolen from MEW, which was most of my savings and my only income is a disability pension, I was rekt over it.
Couldn't stop ruminating, and traced the addresses, but there was little point. I'd consider myself a very cautious person but was tired at the time and simply didn't pay enough attention to the website. We're only human….if we were octopuses we may have been able to out-sneaky them 😉
It's cowardly for these hackers to hide behind a screen and exploit others, and the values behind many crypto-currencies. Most often they are stealing from people with less, meanwhile whales rule the ocean.
Albeit an expensive lesson, now we know to be more secure in future 🙂
