ICON is something I’m recently looking into. Its architecture is better than its closest competitors such as Ethereum, Cardano and EOS. With a market cap of just $3B it’s severaly undervalue for the potential and the idea they have. The team, the technology, the partnerships,… Are all things that point in the direction of success for ICON. But where all of that leaves us, what do I think it will be worth by the end of 2018?

ICON has developed its own blockchain protocol called LFT (Loop Fault Tolerance), which is an enhanced BFT (Byzantine Fault Tolerance)32-based algorithm that promotes faster consensus and ensures the finality of the consensus without the possibility of forks within the network.
LFT limits the number of nodes the Block Generator broadcasts (rest of the nodes participate in voting only) and reduces steps for consensus by pipelining, also manages voting rights by node grouping
