This is good advice. I primarily swing trade, but I was looking to do a day trade a couple of weeks ago. After purchasing I saw the momentum and decided to stay in rather than day trade out. I am still in at the moment and my position has increased by over 32% since purchase. Had I stuck to my guns and day traded this stock, or even held for less than a week as I prefer to do, I would have missed out on my biggest (still unrealized) gains ever up to this point.
