  1. De- centralized ? No exchange, token or coin is this, some more then others but he who holds the bags holds the power. Also he who controls the internet controls the power ask the people of Cuba, China and so on. A Government can take your Bitcoins from you at anytime and if you think they can't then your living in a fantasy world. I hold Crypto and believe in it but get real nothing is Decentralized.

  2. p.s. I'm going to do my own analysis of the landscape for holding storing and transacting Bitcoins. A lot has changed over the past 9 to 10 years. I really haven't kept up. So I want to do this for myself. But I'll share it with you when I'm done.

Lately I've been thinking of hardware wallets more as starter wallets. I have doubts about storing more than you can really afford to lose with a hardware wallet. They seem to have some significant potential security vulnerabilities.

I'm concerned about an experienced hacker being able to circumvent the number of retries before entering your pin number. If an attacker can circumvent the code for the number of retries, then it should be easy to brute force a small numeric pin.

So I'm beginning to think that other options may be necessary for longer-term storing and holding of amounts you really can't afford to lose.

Additionally, I'm beginning to feel there are smartphone alternatives to storing and transacting spendable amounts of Bitcoins that are easier and just as secure, if not more secure than hardware wallets. When used properly with quality password managers..?

  3. Heidi, Do you have a list within the top 50 cryptos that you think are phoney or don't do much of anything? Most of what I own are within the top 25, but it could
be that a few of these may be not so good? Any ideas or any links by other folks you'd suggest on the subject? Thanks in advance!! 😉
And in the opposite direction…are there any cryptos not in the top 50 you think are very good ones to look into? (I know you can't suggest, but a few tips would be good).
