Thanks Sasha for the video. I initiated a short term credit put spread towards end of day after it sold off strongly. Trying to play a reversion to the mean trade to take advantage of the vol.

I'm 18 and have been looking at getting into stocks for a few weeks now and understand basic concepts but one thing I never seem to understand is who/what decides when the value of a stock increases? I understand that when a product is being announced it will generate a lot of interest but what is responsible for changing the price of stocks?
