  1. Thanks for sharing your knowledge about the market. Just starting out I see everyone wants to seel there guru strategies and that sucks because I want the honest truth and you break it down to help me understand thanks.

  2. I think that the concept would be to understand that fundamental analysis and technical analysis give 2 different types of information… The first one gives you information strictly to the company, the second one gives you information about the behaviors of buyers and sellers… Usually, I like to watch fundamentals to choose which companies to buy and which ones to sell and then with the technical analysis I decide when to buy/sell them. Since, as you said, the fundamental analysis is more for long term investing, I normally give more weight on technical analysis than fundamentals…

  3. If these systems worked, then everyone and computers will use them

if everyone uses them, it can't work, because half the people have to lose for half the people to win. everyone can't win, that is a bubble.

so maybe you can do a video on what happens if everyone uses the same strategy and information. what is a good counter strategy when others are acting predictably

  4. I like to look at both fundamentals and technicals. NVDA is a great example. Last year, when it was up at 290, you could have calculated a 5-year future price based on the EPS, growth rate and average PE of about 310, so basically zero potential. Nvidia's fundamentals were sound, however, they were just overhyped. Looking at the fundamentals I give a stock a green light when the projected growth rate over the next 5 years is 15% per annum or higher. On the technicals, I try to find the median line over the last 10 or so years. It is usually oscillating around this line and tells you when to go in or not. Technicals are overlooked by most investors. In my opinion, they can give you an edge. If a stock is clearly bearish, why go in? If a stock bottomed and is confirmed to be bullish (=higher lows, higher highs), and the fundamentals are sound, it's a buy.

  5. going for moon shots will bankrupt anyone's account. aim for "base hits" to build your portfolio, then play with profits. trading's just like playing the guitar.. everyone has their own style!
btw all indicators are trialling indicators
