It is such a pleasure to review "preachers" from the past and laugh about yet another hyped up technology that saves us all. Welcome to reality world. Good lessons on hype curve, unrealistic expectations, and utopian visions of the future.
There is nothing wrong with hierarchical structures if they are based on competency and if they provide ability for members to move up. There is a reason that hierarchy is everywhere, and flat structure virtually do not exist. Why? Because of natural selection. Flat democracy has no chance against well balanced hierarchy.
