Verge XVG is very hot right now. It went up from $0,008 to $0,16 in only 2 weeks. Verge is the best privacy coin around and suprior to Monero, Dash, PIVX and any other privacy-focused cryptocurrency. With its wraith protocol and the smart contracts integration it is for sure something to watch for the long term. I also put it in my top 10 cryptocurrencies for 2018 (some months ago, before the price explosion) with a reason.

So many other coins have already proven none of that matters.
When Binance stopped taking new accounts then reopened, 240,000 people opened an account in one hour and they've stopped taking new accounts again.
What matters is people and the interest level and the adoption of crypto in general, and both factors are rapidly increasing.
MacDonald's are looking at Crypto, Starbucks and going to be accepting it, Facebook will be integrating it- that is why they've banned advertising of it….etc etc any coin thats currently in the top 100 and cheap, soon wont be!

I did the same thing – I bought XVG at 1/3 of 1c and then sold for a profit thinking I would buy back in on the dip. 🙁
I just bought at 7c during this big dip, but only got 10% of what I had. Still it is a good lesson for me. I now keep a core position on all coins that I believe in
