What if I'm watching in 2019?
2018 lol and almost 2019 here, but the stock market remains the same under the same guidelines! You know, same stock, different day concept!! Doesn't matter which book you buy as long as the book starts with the very basics and from the very beginning with stuff like: what are stocks? how stocks work? how can you make money with stocks? Then taking it from there explaining the charts, the flow, and everything pertaining the market.
It would have been nice if uploader had close-up of the books

The only books that are of any practical use.
1. Beat The Market – Edward Thorp
2. Handbook of Portfolio Mathematics – Ralph Vince
3. Money Management Strategies for Futures Traders – Nauzer Balsara
4. Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets – J Murphy
5. The Mathematics of Gambling – Edward Thorp
Item 4 is just for laughs, to open your eyes on how farcical and futile the classical technical analysis methodologies are. I.e. to make you understand what DOES NOT WORK in the market. Don't bother with other texts, it'll just waste your time.
