Imagine how different your life would be if you could predict next weeks or next months winning numbers for the lottery?
Probably pretty different, right?
However, the stock market isn’t as unpredictable as the lottery. The stock prices relate to the human behavior (which is more predictable than people think).
Everyone who is looking at the market has a different view/perspective on things. But the ability to look at/view the stock market in a long-term or big picture way will help predict what your next moves should be.
Experience in the stock market will also be a factor. Take, for example, Warren Buffett. He has decades of experience in the stock market while new traders may only have a few years or less experience. This does affect the way you perceive the market.
If you’re only looking at things in a small or narrow perspective, you’re going to miss the big picture or long-term opportunities available to you.
In short – there are short-term, mid-term and long-term views when it comes to stock. It’s important to look at ALL aspects of the stocks and the market prior to making a decision.
