Because of huge debt
Great video Phil ? thanks so much
Is a great company still great when its earnings and revenue drop during the recession? So P/E or PEG ratios may not change that much even if their stock prices drop.
So if we have found a wonderful company that is on sale, how do we determine if we should invest now and see our investment drop during the coming recession, or do we wait until the recession causes the price to drop even more?
Question for those of you who have been doing this for a while: It seems like there’s an assumption here that the stock for companies you’re watching WILL eventually drop to your MOS price. What makes us believe that will ever happen? Is it possible that the market hits a recession but our wish list stocks don’t drop that much?
It’s time to save for the next big sale
They are now lowering them again. Maybe they will go negative like the Netherlands lol.
Anyone purchase Rule1 paid program? Would you be willing to share your experiences with me?
Great!
no more profits to be had from realestate might be a signal…
I was unaware of the inverted yield curve. Could it have something to do with the fed trying to keep money working rather than being hidden under mattresses during a recession?
Loved that voice crack
Why you guys spreading fear…
According to mike maloney
There is a crash every year.
Oh wow! Another fortune teller.
I thought it CRASHED 2018?
Great stuff, I agree 100%! thanks!
Even a broke clock is right twice a day
I thought everyone who’s into investing is familiar with this inverted curve thing . You don’t have to make a whole video on it man… You do have a good point … but … it’s always easier to say believe me .. When it really happens .. after a long period of time of being bearish.. people would be very very likely to believe it’s gonna continue .. Most of them are absolutely gonna miss the chance ..the once in a lifetime deal chance..cause at that point they’d have grown accustomed to the bear and believe it’d last forever…..
negative yield basically means that people bet their money on the fact that a crash is imminent. this however doesn't make it certain
Does the same apply for investing in index funds, like Vanguards Lifestrategy offerings, i.e. wait until the market crashes and then invest them? Obviously it's not the same as investing in individual companies. Index funds are the best option for someone like me and i'm at a point that I'm ready to start investing in them, but I keep thinking hold off for an impending crash, rightly or wrongly?
Do you think the US Market is continuing to be propped up for this long Bull Run because more people than ever globally can and are investing in the US Market?…many of these being uneducated investors are probably pumping money in regardless of any indicators.
Doing trade is extremely profitable when using the right techniques and a great strategy and also frustrating for those without best Software system that provides winning signal which you may not understand until you are told, all you need to win in every trade you want to embark on is to look for a sincere Account manager/broker with best strategy and swift software like Mr Frank Robert to guild you on what to do, when to place a trade, who is conversant with the forex/binary option forecast. i'm a beneficiary of his sincerity and profiting making.
Awesome Phil ! I m thinking to invest in stocks n hope this is right time to invest in stocks in indian market
Hard to tell when it may come, when the market is as manipulated as this one is…
great video!
Geeeez I remember know why I don’t watch this guy. Pretty lame.
Wow what an inspiring video! Just one thing, I believe I’ve heard people roam about a stock market crash for years now, or at least since 2017. You can never really know when it’s coming, and I believe it’s a disadvantage to go around and “wait” for the market to crash.
Yes! Long term investing is really not effected from this. In the short term is what is concerning and how long the next recession will go on for ?
inverted yield curve is just a joke.!! collapse not gonna happen.!! the market is going change slowly. the market is adopting the new environment.. i will go to the moon if market collapse happen.. lol
I will go with the number one tell tale sign: the unemployment rate increasing.
Q3 2021 :/
Stay out of the market it’s nothing but a casino it’s all in the houses favor. With hedge funds running everything and buying up Corporations for pennies on the dollar we are heading for something it’s just that something isn’t good.
I need to learn more about stocks. Thanks for the video.
There's no proof that it will crash. There are many factors that prove a healthy economy.
As a stock investor believing in my quality stocks if they crash then I'll prepare to buy more… But one can't sit on fence speculating a crash or recession.
I don't buy this theory
Banks are stable and lending conservatively
Therefore keeping cash on side as well as invested makes sense
I'm playing the game of both a crash or not
Thx ?
What to do with your cash few months or 18 months prior to the market crash? Just hold on to the cash for the right opportunity? Or buy gold or bonds and then sell when its time to buy great stocks on sale?
Pigs get slaughtered
It is an unsettled time to be an investor. Brexit, China trade concerns, Trump, and the yield curve. I hate playing safe but it never hurts to save more cash. Great insights, Phil.
Where do I park my money till then?
The big difference betweek curve inversion of 1998 and 2007 is that federal reserve used to keep increasing rates back in 1998 and 2007, which is not the case today. Federal reserve already announced that rates will be kept the same for 2019 and possibly 2020. Keeping rates the same will put less pressure on the curves and the economy. Don't panic for nothing
If history repeats itself, we will see a rate cut and markets will rally then see an inversion followed with a bear market.
crash is reported to 2020
Any suggestions on what to buy during the crash in 2019/20.? Would love to see some top 5's in different sectors like IT, Energy, etc. Also How are index funds affected by the crash? I assume they are not affected as much.
would you like to put money where your mouth is???? there will be no crash as long as TRUMP is president. MAGA till 2020!!!!
Yeah conveniently timed just before 2020 elections. Conveniently timed with a Crypto Currency Bull Market. If you can't see what is in store then your giving bad advice. The crypto market is where you should be learning right now the stock market is toast. I expect a gold backed dollar and crypto dollar as well to begin in 2020
i am not in the "not so bad" recession camp. i will take the other side of that crowded premise.
These videos makes me always raise an eyebrow & smirk a little bit.
First it was 2015-16-17-18 & now 19.
Dont take me wrong, the crash will come but people like you always claim it's the current year or the year after 😉
But who knows, you might be right 😉
