can the irs trace a wallet back to an ip address and to the user?
lets say you mine on a service in a foreign country where the irs may not have jurisdiction in since the irs is an american power.
then you move to a wallet like electrum witch allows you to connect to it via vpn and tor proxy that are in countries where subpoenaing powers are non existent then use the crypto to pay for the vpn service.
can and does the irs trace the crypto to the real ip despite the use of the vpn?
and i forgot to mention there are crypto coins that are privacy oriented and require a private view key to view the transactions can and does the irs trace those back to the ip and even when when going through a vpn?
nobody made money out of crypto this year.. tax for what?
