I wouldn't rely on the chart you are using. I recommend using bifinex or Kraken chart of XTZ. Tezos never went up to 10-12 bucks. That price was the pre-launch price on gate.io. Tezos never had a market cycle yet. So if it passes 2 bucks it will be in price discovery.
if u look at XMR chart at its beginning u ll see the same pattern as xtz
