If you look at Litecoin vs Bitcoin after the halving, Litecoin consistently lost value. It went into a Death spiral for almost 2 years (vs Bitcoin).
And this is what I’m expecting to happen with Litecoin now. I think Bitcoin’s value is going to greatly increase over the next couple years. But not Litecoin. Litecoin vs Bitcoin I think will lose value.

IMO, comparing ltc previous halving to now doesn't make sense for many reasons.

LTC is my 2nd largest position after BTC. LTC is about 10% of my portfolio, BTC representing 85%, so I'm maximalist at the moment. So to me its an easy HODL and I buy on auto on Coinbase just to continue adding to my positions. I think there are 2 key points I can make to argue HODLing or buying LTC. 1 – the last halving occurred during a bear market, not at a beginning of a new bull run cycle. 2 – the developer commits are a bit misleading. LTC operates as a BTC testnet. Segwit, Lightning Network. It is very easy for BTC developers to work on LTC. I like that they are getting their name out there and sponsoring things because BTC is on the verge of being mainstream and LTC can firmly establish themselves as the secondary crypto option.

I don't see how only one historical example is enough deduct a trend or that it will happen again… but right now, pretty much all alts are dropping in comparison to btc.. so if it rolls out that way it'll most likely be because of btc swallowing everything

Is it safe to assume that Litecoin is used a lot more as money than Bitcoin? If so, I guess that's a negative, like it was for Bitcoin when it was trading for a few dollars but it was being used as money, like to buy pizza, for example. I guess if the day comes when Bitcoin is used as money, that'll be the end of that coin as well. Why use crypto when you already have dollars. And I find it funny that Bitcoin was created, not to be a speculative store of value or as digital gold, but to be used as a digital currency. And as the price of Bitcoin goes higher, the less chance it can become a valid currency, and will be a valid digital gold for the super rich who can afford it. Besides, no one will ever accept a currency that is as volatile as the Iranian Rial.

Never understood the sense of Litecoin! Especially since bitcoin has his lightning network!
For me, I was was surprised you had Litecoin, I've always gotten from listening to you that you don't like Litecoin. I'd much rather transact in Litecoin than Bitcoin.
