Venezuela printed almost 1bn in currency to bolster their economy without printing any money. They then sold it saying it is linked to oil….. just don't try to fill your car buying gas with these coins. They will now distance themselves from the coin and as it drops in value they MAY offer to buy it back with a total sum for the total amount of the coins being with a lot less zeros it had when you bought it. A country has just made 750mill out of nothing. As long as they didn't sell it to their own people, it is the best export they have had in the last 20 yrs. Not counting the drug and arms trade.
