  1. If everyone is talking about the market going down this year (overvalued), then why you suggest keeping cash (losing purchasing power) instead of going Bearish on S&P 500 (SPXS)? Would highly appreciate a video on that from Phil 😉

Thank you for great content and appreciate your work!

  2. What if theres great companies on sale right now, but we are close to a stock market crash?? Is still buying ok? And what indicators to get out? Technical indicators as stated in Rule1 book?

  3. Dear Mr. Town! First off, let me express my deepest gratitude to your contributions to the public. I've been consuming your valuable contents in every conceivable way. When I'm ready, I'm gonna give something meaningful back to the community as well.
So, I'd have one single question, if possible. I'm a citizen of Hungary, central-eastern Europe. Here we have an amazing opportunity to invest in stocks on a long-term investment account which is 100% tax-free until certain easily doable requirements are met. There is only one thing missing here, which is options trading. That can't be done on the account. I wonder how much I'm missing hence… if options trading done well, should I consider to go for a regular account with options trading, along with the effort to learn the whole thing (plus max. 15% taxation on both capital and dividend gains) or I better go for the tax-free one? Much obliged Sir in advance! Gábor ?

  4. CMI has always been my top pick. Reliable, durable, long lasting, innovative, and adaptable. They lead the market in HD transportation power (on asphalt and on the sea) and can keep your lights on when the power companies are having issues with Mother Nature. I have trusted CMI to get me all over the country and my day to day commute to work for 8 years. Started in 1919 and will be around for another century with their ability to adapt to changing times backed by quality and no cut corners!

  5. Fintech will be a dominating sector in the near future, along with Marijuana based product companies, once it is totally legalised, along with Uber type companies will drive the future, and lets not forget Electronic cars and accessories and aged care and funeral services.

  6. Btw Phil , it would be awesome if rule1 tools calculator showed MOS in the past too. Right now the green and red zones are just horizontal lines what limits the major tool to one point in time.

  7. John Bogle did not believe investors for the long term should try to pull completely out and time the market, which he said is "a really dumb strategy." Instead, he said it's time "to really be thinking how much risk you want to have" and make some defensive moves. John Bogle said not to pull out, I won’t. I’ll have money on hand but will never sell Phil!

  8. Ryanair LTD, it had a correction after Union disputes already and will suffer the same correction as the others during a selling frenzy. SALE SALE SALE. Love your channel by the way!

  9. Hey phill!
I want to know how do you actualy buy stocks, which are the best sites to buy, or how to buy stock in cash? I think this would be a great video so if you see this please make a video.
    Thanks if you will.?

  10. Hey Phil, I have been pondering for a while about the dilemma that I'm facing. I've recently graduated and found an entry-level job in finance. I have a decent amount of student debt to pay off (around 45k CAD) and I'm torn between aggressively paying off my student debt or delaying that and saving up some cash for the coming market correction. Not sure if this will matter but I wrote CFA 1 in Dec 2018 and I am looking to get into equity research.

  11. Hi Phil, sorry for may be stupid question but i am just starting (learning) the right ways to invest. You said that get in to cash at the start of the video do you literally mean to go and get your money from the bank in actual cash or just hold some money available for investment in the bank ? Thank you for you great videos

  12. Sounds like your saying Time The Market. I hear experts often say you can't time the market. Well I always buy at deep dips when I feel a stock is oversold. Recently grabbed NWL, KSS & GIS on deep dips and i'm green. I stick with low beta dividend stocks and I've done fairly well with this dip method so I agree with being patient and backing up the truck.

  13. Hi Phil no disrespect, but on the 27 dec 2018 if you see it has been a correction day all stocks when crashing! The bubble exploded. Now on today new warren buffet lost billions with apple Berkshire folio.

  14. Solid advice! I’m going to buy LVMH. It’s sought after during economic peaks and dips. Beauty and luxury will always attract customers from all over the world. Especially the more affluent ones.

  15. Hi Phil, thank you for all your wonderful videos! I love the clarity and enthusiasm that you present every video with.
Could you please clarify though what the distinction between "Waiting in cash" and "Timing the Market" is?

  16. Stock, the normal way is pretty boring…Buy, Hold, Speculate: Hope for a Gain.. I enjoy your content Mr Phil, no overhyping + direct ???

  17. During the dotcom boom in the 90s, you could enjoy 4-5% returns by.EXITING the market and just sitting in cash. Even with savers being treated that well, people still plowed everything they had into equities. That’s the kind of greed us Rule 1 types want to be selling into.
